AUGUSTINE, Fla.<\/b>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Weekday detours are scheduled to occur at the intersection of King Street (State Road 5A) and Avenida Menendez (State Road A1A) in downtown St. Augustine to complete work on a drainage improvement project. Detours are scheduled Sunday nights starting at 8 p.m. through Friday mornings at 6 a.m. beginning Sept. 24 for approximately four weeks.<\/p>\n

During the closures, drivers on State Road A1A south can still access the Bridge of Lions. Drivers who wish to continue south will detour onto Cathedral Place, Cordova Street and south on Granada Street. Drivers on State Road A1A north will detour to Cordova Street north and follow posted detour signs to access the Bridge of Lions.<\/p>\n
