JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 As part of the Florida Department of Transportation\u2019s I-295 at Normandy Boulevard Operational Improvements and I-295 from Morse Avenue to U.S. 90 Resurfacing projects, overnight lane closures are scheduled nightly beginning Monday, Nov. 27 through the morning of Friday, Dec. 1 for milling and resurfacing, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. Intermittent ramp closures are planned during these lane closures.<\/p>\n

Single and double lane closures will be in place beginning at 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning. During intermittent ramp detours, motorists are encouraged to follow posted detour signs and use caution in the area during this time.<\/p>\n

The projects include ramp widening and operational improvements at the I-295\/Normandy Boulevard interchange and resurfacing of I-295 from Morse Avenue to Beaver Street. The speed limit has been reduced to 55 mph in the construction zone throughout the duration of the project.<\/p>\n
