<\/a>JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0\u2013 As part of the I-95 widening project from south of Atlantic Boulevard to south of Emerson Street, overnight closures of Emerson Street under the I-95 overpass are planned Tuesday, April 29 through Thursday, May 1, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.<\/p>\n

The road will close nightly at 10 p.m. and reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning. During the closures, the following detours will be in place:<\/p>\n

I-95 South to Emerson Street\/Emerson Street west of I-95:<\/b>\u00a0Drivers on eastbound Emerson Street will take southbound Philips Highway (U.S. 1) to eastbound University Boulevard and use northbound I-95 to reconnect with Emerson Street.<\/li>\n

I-95 North to Emerson Street\/Emerson Street east of I-95:<\/b>\u00a0Drivers on westbound Emerson Street will take westbound Beach Boulevard (SR 212) to westbound Atlantic Boulevard and use southbound I-95 to reconnect with Emerson Street.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
