JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2013<\/span><\/b>\u00a0As part of FDOT\u2019s Atlantic Boulevard (State Road 10) resurfacing project, which extends from the Kernan Boulevard overpass to Mayport Road, the Mayport Road flyover at Atlantic Boulevard will be closed nightly beginning Sunday, July 27 for paving.<\/p>\n

The Mayport Road flyover at Atlantic Boulevard will be closed from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, for about two weeks. Crews will be laying down a friction course which is the final layer of asphalt on the roadway. This layer is designed to improve safety, especially in wet conditions.<\/p>\n

As a detour, drivers will take the exit onto Florida Boulevard and continue onto Mayport Road.<\/p>\n
