JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0\u2013 As part of a project to replace the finger joints on the Buckman Bridge, a southbound single lane closure is planned Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.<\/p>\n

The inside lane of I-295 South over the Buckman Bridge will close from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible and plan additional time for travel.<\/p>\n

In addition to bridge finger joint replacements, the project includes partial coatings and structural steel work on the I-295 Buckman Bridge over the St. Johns River in Duval County.<\/p>\n
