JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Concrete rehabilitation on the Hart Expressway (State Road 228) from the Hart Bridge to Beach Boulevard (State Road 212/U.S. 90) begins Monday, Aug. 31, 2026.
The project includes concrete rehabilitation, milling and resurfacing, roadway reconstruction, lighting, ramp realignment, shoulder resurfacing, drainage improvements, guardrail, bridge upgrades and other incidental construction.
Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT design standards throughout the project.
The project is estimated for completion by winter 2027, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
