JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – FDOT will have overnight closures and detours throughout the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project beginning Sunday, Aug. 17 for roadway and bridge construction operations, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
Detour to begin Sunday, Aug. 17 at 10 p.m. through mid-September:
I-95 North to I-295 West ramp closed: The exit ramp from I-95 North to I-295 West will close while crews construct roadway widening. Drivers will detour to I-295 East and take U.S. 17 north to access I-295 West.
Closures scheduled Sunday, Aug. 17 through Tuesday, Aug. 19 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- U.S. 17 northbound at I-295 closed: Drivers will detour to Eastport Road to Pulaski Road and make a left on Pulaski Road to access I-295 West back to U.S. 17.
- I-295 West at I-95 closed: Drivers will detour to U.S. 17 north to Airport Center Drive, take Airport Canter Drive west then International Airport Boulevard south to access I-295 West.
Closure scheduled Wednesday, Aug. 20 and Thursday, Aug. 21 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- U.S. 17 southbound at I-295 closed: Drivers will detour east on New Berlin Road and make a right on Pulaski Road, then left on Eastport Road to reconnect with U.S. 17.
