JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – FDOT will have overnight closures and detours throughout the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project beginning Sunday, Aug. 24 for roadway and bridge construction operations, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
Full detour continuing Sunday, Aug. 24 at 10 p.m. through mid-September:
- I-95 North to I-295 West ramp closed: The exit ramp from I-95 North to I-295 West will close while crews construct roadway widening. Drivers will detour to I-295 East and take U.S. 17 north to access I-295 West.
Closure scheduled Sunday, Aug. 24 and Monday, Aug. 25 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- I-95 South at Airport Road closed: Drivers will detour at Airport Road, go west to International Airport Road/Duval Road then I-295 eastbound to access I-95.
Closure scheduled Sunday, Aug. 24 and Thursday, Aug. 28 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- I-95 North traffic ramp to I-295 eastbound closed: Drivers will continue on I-95 to Max Leggett Parkway, go east then right on U.S. 17 (Main Street) to access I-295 eastbound.
