ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – As part of the King Street Bridge over the San Sebastian River rehabilitation project, an extended detour is necessary to complete the work safely. The bridge will close Monday, April 13, and remain closed for approximately seven months, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
During the closure, roadway users will follow posted detour signs to U.S. 1 and Malaga Street to access King Street. A temporary signal at U.S. 1 and Malaga Street has been installed to assist drivers through the detour safely.
