JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As part of the I-95 and I-295 North Interchange improvements project, overnight detours throughout the project limits are necessary for roadway and bridge construction operations Sunday, April 26 through Thursday, April 30, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
Closures scheduled Sunday, April 26 to Thursday, April 30 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- I-95 North closed: Drivers will detour to Busch Drive, go north on U.S. 17 and west on Airport Center Drive to access I-95. Drivers on I-295 West wanting access to I-95 North will detour to U.S. 17 north and go west on Airport Center Drive to access I-95.
- I-95 South closed: Drivers will detour at Max Leggett Parkway, go east on Max Leggett Parkway, south on U.S. 17 and west on Busch Drive to access I-95.
Closures scheduled Wednesday, April 29 and Thursday, April 30 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- I-295 East collector/distributor lanes closed: I-295 East drivers will use the
I-295 East mainline lanes. Drivers wanting access to U.S. 17 or I-95 will detour to Pulaski Road and take I-295 West collector/distributor lanes for access to U.S. 17 and I-95.
- I-295 West collector/distributor lanes closed: I-295 West drivers will use I-295 West mainline lanes. Drivers wanting to access I-95 will take U.S. 17 north and Airport Center Drive west to access I-95.
Conflicting detours and lane closures will not take place at the same time.
