ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – As part of First Coast Expressway construction, St. Johns Parkway (County Road 2209) between Waterford Lakes Drive and Silverleaf Village Drive will close daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1 through Thursday, Sept. 3 to allow for placement of concrete barrier wall. During the closure, drivers will detour via Silverlake Drive. Drivers are reminded to follow all detour signs and posted speed limits and to use additional caution in the area.
