JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As part of a project to replace the finger joints on the Buckman Bridge, northbound single lane closures are planned from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15 and Sunday, Aug. 16, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. Drivers are encouraged to use additional caution in the work zone and plan extra time to reach their destinations.
In addition to bridge finger joint replacements, the project includes partial coatings and structural steel work on the I-295 Buckman Bridge over the St. Johns River in Duval County.
