JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Resurfacing work is scheduled to begin on State Road 202 (J. Turner Butler Boulevard) from Belfort Road to Hodges Boulevard next week. This project includes milling and resurfacing, base work, shoulder treatment, drainage improvements, highway signing, guardrail installation, bridge construction, and other incidental construction.
Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT design standards throughout the project. No lane closures will be allowed from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Preferred Materials is estimated to complete this project by late 2027, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
