JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As part of the I-95 and I-295 North Interchange improvements project, overnight detours throughout the project limits are necessary for roadway and bridge construction operations Sunday, May 3 through Thursday, May 7, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
Closure scheduled Sunday, May 3 and Monday, May 4 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- I-95 South closed: Drivers will detour at Max Leggett Parkway, go east on Max Leggett Parkway, south on U.S. 17 and west on Busch Drive to access I-95.
Closure scheduled Monday, May 4 to Thursday, May 7 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- I-95 North closed: Drivers will detour to Busch Drive, go north on U.S. 17 and west on Airport Center Drive to access I-95. Drivers on I-295 West wanting access to I-95 North will detour to U.S. 17 north and go west on Airport Center Drive to access I-95.
Closure scheduled Tuesday, May 5 to Thursday, May 7 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- I-295 East closed: Drivers will follow posted detour signs and use the I-295 East collector/distributor lanes.
Conflicting detours and lane closures will not take place at the same time.
