JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As part of FDOT’s I-10 from I-295 to I-95 widening project, closures and detours are scheduled at multiple interchanges within the project limits Thursday, April 24 through Thursday, May 1 while crews perform construction work, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. Please note that schedules may be adjusted to avoid conflicting detour traffic along the routes.
Closures scheduled for Thursday April 24 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-95 southbound ramp to I-10 West: Drivers will take MLK Parkway west to Edgewood Avenue south and follow Edgewood Avenue to Cassat Avenue to access I-10 West.
- I-95 northbound to I-10 West: Drivers will take Irene Street exit ramp, make right on Stockton Street and left on Edison Avenue to McDuff Avenue to access I-10 West.
- Forest Street on-ramp to I-10 West closed: Drivers will detour to Edison Avenue, go left on McDuff Avenue to access I-10 West.
Closure scheduled for Sunday, April 27 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Edgewood between Lenox Avenue and Highway Avenue closed: Drivers will detour west on Lenox Avenue and north on Cassat Avenue to access Highway Avenue.
Closures scheduled Sunday, April 27 to Thursday, May1 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- I-10 West exit to U.S. 17 (Roosevelt Boulevard) closed: Drivers will detour to the McDuff Avenue exit and make a left on McDuff Avenue to connect with U.S. 17.
- U.S. 17 (Roosevelt Boulevard) on-ramp to I-10 East closed: Drivers will detour on Roosevelt Boulevard to McDuff Avenue north to access I-10 East.
- Irene Street on-ramp to I-10 West closed: Drivers will detour to Edison Avenue and make a right on Forest Street to access I-10 West.
- McDuff Avenue on-ramp to I-10 East closed: Drivers will detour to Roselle Street, then go east to Stockton Street to access I-10 East.
- I-10 East off-ramp to Lane Avenue closed: Drivers will detour to the Cassat Avenue exit, go left on Cassat and access I-10 West and exit Lane Avenue.
Closure scheduled Monday, April 28 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- Ellis Road between Ramona Boulevard and Highway Avenue closed: Drivers will detour to Ramona Boulevard, take Ramona Boulevard west then north on Lane Avenue to access Highway Avenue.
