CLAY AND ST. JOHNS COUNTIES, Fla. – Directional closures are planned on the Shands Bridge (State Road 16) overnight Wednesday, April 30 and Thursday, May 1 for routine bridge inspection and maintenance work.
Closures will begin at 8 p.m. and conclude by 5 a.m. the following morning. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic. Drivers should use an alternate route if possible, exercise caution and allow additional time to reach their destinations.
