JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As part of FDOT’s I-10 from I-295 to I-95 widening project, closures and detours are scheduled at multiple interchanges within the project limits beginning Saturday, May 18 while crews perform bridge construction operations, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
Closure scheduled Saturday, May 18 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.:
- Stockton Street at I-10 closed: Northbound drivers will detour to Phyllis Street, to King Street and take Edison Avenue to reconnect with Stockton Street. Southbound drivers will detour to Edison Avenue, to King Street and take Phyllis Street to reconnect with Stockton Street.
Closures scheduled Sunday, May 19 through Thursday, May 23 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- I-10 West exit to U.S. 17 (Roosevelt Boulevard) closed: Drivers will detour to the McDuff Avenue exit and turn left on McDuff Avenue to connect with Roosevelt Boulevard.
- U.S. 17 to I-10 East on-ramp closed: Drivers will detour to Roosevelt Boulevard, to Edgewood Avenue, to Plymouth Street and take McDuff Avenue to connect with I-10 East.
Closures scheduled Sunday, May 19 through Tuesday, May 21 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- I-10 West exit to Luna Street closed: Drivers will detour to Cassat Avenue and take Highway Avenue to connect with Luna Street.
- McDuff Avenue to I-10 West on-ramp closed: Northbound drivers will detour to Lenox Avenue and take Cassat Avenue to connect with I-10 West. Southbound drivers will detour to Rosselle Street, to Stockton Street and take Irene Street to connect with I-10 West.
Closures scheduled Wednesday, May 22 and Thursday, May 23 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- Cassat Avenue to I-10 West on-ramp closed: Northbound drivers will detour to Highway Avenue and take Lane Avenue to connect with I-10 West. Southbound drivers will detour to Lenox Avenue, to Normandy Boulevard and take Lane Avenue to connect with I-10 West.
- I-10 West exit to Cassat Avenue closed: Drivers will detour to the Lane Avenue exit and take Highway Avenue to connect with Cassat Avenue.
- Irene Street to I-10 West on-ramp closed: Drivers will detour to Edison Avenue and take Forest Street to connect with I-10 West.
