JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation’s I-295 resurfacing project from the south end of the Dames Point Bridge to Monument Road is set to begin.
In addition to milling and resurfacing, the project will include upgrades to signage and lighting.
Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT design standards throughout the project. Lane closure restrictions for I-295, SR 113/Southside Connector and frontage roads include no double lane closures or detours between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. and no single lane closures Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
