JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Motorists traveling northbound on I-95 seeking to access Airport Road will encounter nightly detours for permanent beam replacement at the overpass. Westbound Max Leggett Parkway drivers traveling to westbound Airport Road will also be impacted by the closures.
The overpass was damaged by an over-height commercial vehicle on Aug. 27 and requires a beam replacement.
The northbound I-95 ramp to Airport Road will be detoured from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4 and again, from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5.
Nightly detours of the ramp will occur from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6 through Friday, Oct. 18.
Motorists will be detoured to Pecan Park Road and return to Airport Road via southbound I-95. Detour signage and law enforcement will be onsite throughout the duration of the repair.
