JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As part of the interchange improvement project at J.T. Butler Boulevard (State Road 202) and Kernan Boulevard, overnight closures of multiple ramps are planned for paving and striping activities.
Tuesday, June 25 and Wednesday, June 26:
- The ramp from I-295 South to eastbound Butler Boulevard will close nightly at 8 p.m., reopening by 5:30 a.m. the following morning. During the closures, drivers will exit I-295 South at Beach Boulevard, take Beach Boulevard east to Kernan Boulevard and Kernan Boulevard south to access eastbound Butler Boulevard.
- The ramps from eastbound Butler Boulevard to both northbound Kernan Boulevard and southbound Kernan Boulevard will close at 8 p.m., reopening by 5:30 a.m. the following morning. During the closures, drivers will continue east on Butler Boulevard to the Hodges Boulevard exit, where they will take westbound Butler Boulevard to the Kernan Boulevard exit.
Thursday, June 28: The ramp from eastbound Butler Boulevard to northbound Kernan Boulevard will close at 8 p.m. Thursday, June 27, reopening by 5:30 a.m. Friday, June 28. During the closure, drivers will continue east on Butler Boulevard to the Hodges Boulevard exit and use westbound Butler Boulevard to exit at Kernan Boulevard.
