JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – FDOT has scheduled a series of overnight detours on the I-95/I-295 North Interchange beginning Sunday, July 23 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
The following detours are scheduled nightly for Sunday, July 23 through Thursday, July 27 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
I-295:
- I-295 westbound between I-95 and U.S. 17 will detour to I-95 northbound and Airport Road to rejoin I-295 westbound.
I-95:
- I-95 northbound between Max Leggett Parkway and I-295 will detour to I-295 eastbound, U.S. 17 and I-295 westbound to rejoin I-95 northbound.
The following detours are scheduled for Monday, July 24 and Tuesday, July 25 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
I-295:
- The I-295 westbound ramp to I-95 northbound will detour to U.S. 17 and Airport Road to rejoin I-95 northbound.
- The I-295 eastbound ramp to I-95 northbound will detour to the temporary I-295 eastbound to U.S. 17 to Airport Road to rejoin I-295 northbound.
The following detours are scheduled for Wednesday, July 26 and Thursday, July 27 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
I-295:
- I-295 eastbound between I-95 and U.S. 17 will be detoured to I-95 southbound, Busch Drive and U.S. 17 to rejoin I-295 eastbound.
- The I-295 eastbound ramp to Pulaski Road will be detoured to U.S. 17 and Eastport Road to rejoin Pulaski Road.
These detours are a part of the new phase of construction on the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project. The interchange upgrades are part of an important effort to promote economic growth and development in the region.
