JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As part of the I-95 and I-295 North Interchange Improvements project, overnight detours throughout the project limits are necessary for roadway and bridge construction operations beginning Monday, Nov. 3 through Thursday, Nov. 6, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
Closure scheduled Monday, Nov. 3 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- I-95 South exit ramp to I-295 West closed: Drivers will follow detour signs to the I-295 East exit ramp and use U.S. 17 North to access I-295 West.
Closure scheduled Tuesday, Nov. 4, Wednesday, Nov. 5, and Thursday, Nov. 6 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following mornings:
- I-295 East closed: Drivers will follow posted detour signs to exit at Duval Road northbound to Airport Road, make a right on Airport Road and take U.S. 17 southbound to access I-295 East. Drivers wishing to access I-95 North will exit at Duval Road northbound and make a right on Airport Road to access I-95 North.
Closure scheduled Wednesday, Nov. 5 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- I-295 West collector/distributor lanes closed: Drivers will follow posted detour signs to use I-295 westbound lanes. Drivers wishing to access I-95 will detour northbound on U.S. 17 and make a left on Airport Center Drive to access I-95.
Closure scheduled Thursday, Nov. 6 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- I-295 West closed: Drivers will follow posted detour signs to use the I-295 West collector/distributor lanes.
