JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – FDOT will have multiple overnight closures and detours throughout the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project for roadway and bridge construction operations, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. Please note that times may be adjusted to avoid conflicting detour traffic along the routes.
Closures are scheduled through Thursday, June 20 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- I-295 West closed: Drivers will detour to I-95 North, to the Airport Road exit and take Biscayne Boulevard to reconnect with I-295 West.
- I-95 North closed: Drivers will detour to I-295 East, take the U.S. 17 exit and take I-295 West to reconnect with I-95 North.
- I-295 South closed: Drivers will detour to I-295 East, take the U.S. 17 exit and take I-295 West to reconnect with I-95 South.
- I-95 South ramp to I-295 West closed: Drivers will detour to the Airport Road exit and take Biscayne Boulevard to connect with I-295 West.
This work is part of a new phase of construction on the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project. The interchange upgrades are part of an important effort to promote economic growth and development in the region.
