JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – FDOT will have overnight closures and detours throughout the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project beginning Sunday, July 21 for roadway and bridge construction operations, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
Closures scheduled Sunday, July 21 through Thursday, July 25 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- I-295 West closed: Drivers will detour to I-95 North, to the Airport Road exit and take Duval Road to reconnect with I-295 West.
- I-95 North exit to I-295 West closed: Drivers will detour to the Airport Road exit and take Duval Road to connect with I-295 West.
- I-95 South exit to I-295 West closed: Drivers will detour to the Airport Road exit and take Duval Road to connect with I-295 West.
This work is part of a new phase of construction on the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project. The interchange upgrades are part of an important effort to promote economic growth and development in the region.
