JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – In case you missed it, The Florida Department of Transportation shifted traffic onto the newly constructed I-295 eastbound to I-95 southbound exit ramp as part of the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements Project.
Drivers now must take the new exit ramp from I-295 eastbound, located approximately one mile west of the old exit ramp near the Biscayne overpass, to connect with I-95 southbound. This does not impact I-95 northbound drivers.
This work is part of FDOT’s I-95/I-295 North Interchange Project designed to reconfigure the I-95/I-295 North interchange to improve traffic flow, safety and increase capacity by moving vehicles through the interchange with fewer lane shifts.
Give the gift of safety this holiday season by buckling up. Every trip. Every time.
