JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – FDOT will have multiple overnight closures and detours throughout the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project starting Sunday, Jan. 14 at 10 p.m. for overhead sign operations and roadway construction, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. Please note that times may be adjusted to avoid conflicting detour traffic along the routes.
I-95 southbound to close:
Sunday, Jan. 14 through Thursday, Jan. 18 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., drivers will detour to Airport Road to U.S. 17 and take I-295 westbound to reconnect to I-95 southbound.
I-295 eastbound ramp (exit ramp) to I-95 northbound to close:
Sunday, Jan. 14 through Thursday, Jan. 18 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., drivers will detour via I-295 eastbound to U.S. 17 and Airport Road to reconnect to I-95 northbound.
I-295 eastbound to close:
Sunday, Jan. 14 through Tuesday, Jan. 16 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., drivers will detour to Duval Road, to Airport Road and take I-95 southbound to reconnect with I-295 eastbound.
I-295 eastbound collector distributor to close:
Wednesday, Jan. 17 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., drivers will detour to I-95 southbound to Busch Drive and take I-95 northbound to reconnect with I-295.
I-295 westbound ramp to U.S. 17 to close:
Wednesday, Jan. 17 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., drivers will detour to I-95 northbound and take Airport Road to connect with U.S. 17.
U.S. 17 ramp to I-295 eastbound to close:
Thursday, Jan. 18 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., drivers will detour to Eastport Road and take Pulaski Road to connect with I-295 eastbound.
I-295 westbound to close:
Thursday, Jan. 18 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., drivers will detour to I-95 northbound to Airport Road and take I-95 southbound to reconnect with I-295.
This work is part of a new phase of construction on the I-95/I-295 North Interchange Operational Improvements project. The interchange upgrades are part of an important effort to promote economic growth and development in the region.
