JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Construction on a project to resurface Atlantic Boulevard (State Road 10) from the Kernan Boulevard overpass to Mayport Road has begun.
Preferred Materials Inc. was selected to complete this project, which includes milling and resurfacing, base and shoulder treatment, slab joint repair, drainage improvements, guardrail, sidewalk, curb and gutter work, traffic signal and highway sign installation and other incidental construction on Atlantic Boulevard (State Road 10) in Duval County from the Kernan Boulevard overpass to Mayport Road.
Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT design standards throughout the project. No double lane closures are allowed from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday. No single lane closures are allowed within 600 feet of a signalized intersection from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday. No double lane closures are allowed within 600 feet of a signalized intersection from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Sunday. No full ramp closures with detours are allowed from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Only one ramp closure is allowed at a time.
