JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As part of the interchange improvement project at J.T. Butler Boulevard (State Road 202) and Kernan Boulevard, multiple ramp closures are planned at the interchange Thursday, May 30 through Thursday, June 6 for paving activities. Drivers can also expect lane closures throughout the project area during this time.
The following detours are planned nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
Ramp from Kernan Boulevard to westbound Butler Boulevard closed Thursday, May 30 and Sunday, June 2 through Thursday, June 6: Drivers will take eastbound Butler Boulevard to Hodges Boulevard to access westbound Butler Boulevard.
Ramp from eastbound Butler Boulevard to northbound Kernan Boulevard closed Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2: Drivers will continue on eastbound Butler Boulevard to Hodges Boulevard and take westbound Butler Boulevard to access northbound Kernan Boulevard.
Ramp from westbound Butler Boulevard to Kernan Boulevard closed Monday, June 3 and Tuesday, June 4: Drivers will continue on westbound Butler Boulevard, take I-295 North to Beach Boulevard (U.S. 90) and travel east on Beach Boulevard to access Kernan Boulevard.
