JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As part of a resurfacing project on Arlington Expressway (State Road 115) from Mathews Bridge to Southside Boulevard, a detour of the Arlington Expressway North Service Road at Alderman Place is set to begin Sunday, May 12 and continue until Saturday, May 18 while crews perform reconstruction of the service road after installation of new drainage facilities. During the closure, traffic will be detoured as follows:
North Service Road Westbound Detour:
Drivers will detour via eastbound Arlington Expressway, northbound Bert Road, eastbound Lone Star Road, and southbound Townsend Boulevard to access the North Service Road.
North Service Road Eastbound Detour:
Drivers will detour via westbound Arlington Road north, northbound Townsend Road, westbound on Lone Star Road/Lillian Road to access the North Service Road. The Arlington Expressway will remain open to traffic in both directions.
