JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As part of FDOT’s I-10 from I-295 to I-95 widening project, closures and detours are scheduled at multiple interchanges within the project limits Sunday, Sept. 7 through Friday, Sept. 11 while crews perform construction work, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. Please note that schedules may be adjusted to avoid conflicting detour traffic along the routes.
Closures scheduled Sunday, Sept. 7 to Thursday, Sept. 11 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- Irene Street on-ramp to I-10 West closed: Drivers will detour to Edison Avenue and make a right on Forest Street to access I-10 West.
- McDuff Avenue on-ramp to I-10 East closed: Drivers will detour to Roselle Street, then go east to Stockton Street to access I-10 East.
- I-10 West off-ramp to U.S. 17 (Roosevelt Boulevard) closed: Drivers will detour to Cassat Avenue, right on Highway Avenue and right on Edgewood Avenue to access U.S. 17.
- Lane Avenue on-ramp to I-10 West closed: Southbound Lane Avenue drivers will detour to Normandy Boulevard, make a left on Normandy Boulevard, then left on Lenox Avenue and left on Cassat Avenue to access I-10 West. Northbound Lane Avenue drivers will detour to Highway Avenue, make a right on Highway Avenue and right on Cassat Avenue and access I-10 West.
Closures scheduled Monday, Sept. 8 to Thursday Sept. 11 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- I-10 West exit to McDuff Avenue closed: Drivers will detour to the Luna Street exit, turn left on Luna Street and use the I-10 East ramp to access McDuff Avenue
- U.S. 17 (Roosevelt Boulevard) on-ramp to I-10 East closed: Drivers will detour to McDuff Avenue and make a left on McDuff Avenue, left on Roosevelt Boulevard, right on Edgewood Avenue, and right on Lenox Avenue continuing on Rayford Street to access I-10 East.
