“I had a flat on a trailer on I-75. I was on the shoulder and due to proximity of guardrail not the best location to change a tire. Morning heavy traffic. While changing the tire my bottle jack failed. Helpless and wondering next plan, a FDOT patrol pulled up behind me. The Driver positioned cones and loaned me a jack to finish the tire change. It was a difficult situation and I had been driving all night, was severely fatigued. I was only 2 miles from my exit. I got home 30 minutes later.”
