JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As part of FDOT’s I-10 from I-295 to I-95 widening project, closures and detours are scheduled at multiple interchanges within the project limits Sunday, Sept. 21 through Thursday, Sept. 25 while crews perform construction work, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting. Please note that schedules may be adjusted to avoid conflicting detour traffic along the routes.
Closure scheduled Sunday, Sept. 21 to Monday, Sept. 22 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- Lane Avenue on-ramp to I-10 West closed: Southbound Lane Avenue drivers will detour to Normandy Boulevard, make a left on Normandy Boulevard, then left on Lenox Avenue and left on Cassat Avenue to access I-10 West. Northbound Lane Avenue drivers will detour to Highway Avenue, make a right on Highway Avenue, and a right on Cassat to access I-10 West.
Closures scheduled Sunday, Sept. 21 to Thursday, Sept. 25 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- Irene Street on-ramp to I-10 West closed: Drivers will detour to Edison Avenue and make a right on Forest Street to access I-10 West.
- I-10 West off-ramp to U.S. 17 (Roosevelt Boulevard) closed: Drivers will detour to Cassat Avenue, right on Highway Avenue and right on Edgewood Avenue to access U.S. 17.
Closure scheduled Monday, Sept. 22 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- Cassat Avenue on-ramp to I-10 East closed: Northbound Cassat Avenue drivers will continue on Cassat Avenue, make a right on Highway Avenue, a right on Luna and a left on Lenox to access I-10 East. Southbound Cassat Avenue drivers will make a left on Lenox Avenue and continue as it becomes Rayford Street to access I-10 East.
- I-10 East at McDuff closed: Drivers will exit at McDuff Avenue, cross McDuff Avenue and use the I-10 on-ramp to access I-10 East.
Closure scheduled Monday, Sept. 22 and Tuesday, Sept. 23 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- McDuff Avenue closed: Southbound drivers will make a right on Lenox Avenue, a left on Luna and a left on Rayford Street and take I-10 East to access McDuff Avenue. Northbound drivers make a right on Rosselle Street, left on King Street, left on Edison Avenue to access McDuff Avenue.
Closure scheduled Tuesday, Sept. 23 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:
- I-10 West at McDuff Avenue closed: Drivers will exit at McDuff Avenue cross McDuff Avenue and use the I-10 on-ramp to access I-10 West.
