JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – As part of the ongoing interchange improvement and resurfacing project at I-295 and U.S. 17, nightly ramp closures at the interchange are planned through Thursday, May 23, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
The ramp from northbound U.S. 17 to I-295 South will close at 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 21 and will reopen by 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 22. During the closure, drivers on northbound U.S. 17 will take the ramp to I-295 North and exit at Blanding Boulevard to access I-295 South.
Once the ramp from northbound U.S. 17 to I-295 South reopens, the ramp from I-295 North to U.S. 17 will close, reopening by 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 22. Additionally, the ramp from I-295 North to U.S. 17 will close nightly at 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 22 and Thursday, May 23, reopening by 6 a.m. the following morning. During the closures, drivers on I-295 North will continue to Blanding Boulevard and take I-295 South to access the U.S. 17 exit.
