JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Construction on a FDOT project to resurface State Road 208 (Wilson Boulevard) from Debra Drive to Lane Avenue is scheduled to begin the second week of January, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
The project will consist of milling and resurfacing, drainage improvements, curb and gutter work, traffic signal and lighting improvements, highway signage, sidewalk and bicycle path improvements and other incidental construction.
Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT standards throughout the project. No single lane closures will be allowed from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. One lane must remain open in each direction. No double lane closures or detours from 5:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.
Duval Asphalt Inc. was selected to complete this $2.5 million dollar project by fall 2024, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
